The Wolf Cub Handbook is your guide to achieving your Wolf Badge.   If you are new to scouting, you will begin by completing your Bobcat Badge as explained in the beginning section of the handbook.  Then you will set off on the Wolf Trail.  Working with your parents and den, you will complete 12 Achievements and learn new skills along the way!  Your Wolf Badge will be awarded at the Blue and Gold banquet in February.

As you progress toward your Wolf Badge, your hard work will be recognized.  On the Progress Toward Ranks emblem, you will display a gold bead for every three Achievements that have been completed.  (As a Bear scout, you will display red beads.)  Beads are awarded by your den leader in den meetings.

In addition to working on your Achievements, you may also choose to complete Electives.  A total of 100 electives are listed in the back section of the Handbook.  After completing your first ten electives, you will be awarded a gold Arrow Point to be worn on your uniform.  For each additional ten electives earned, you will receive a silver Arrow Point.

Here’s another opportunity to explore new topics and learn new skills.  As part of the Cub Scout Academics and Sports Program, you can earn belt loops and pins to be worn on your uniform.  To earn a belt loop, you simply complete three tasks related to a particular area, like Baseball or Geography.  Complete five more tasks in that same area, and you will earn a pin.  Do you play soccer?  Have you ever gone bowling?  Do you play a musical instrument?  You already may have earned an award to be presented at the next pack meeting! You and your parent/guardian can ask your den leader or go online to learn more about the Academics and Sports program requirements: Link.

Submit Wolf Achievements/View Den 3 Calendar:
The Wolf Den 3 meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month.  Meetings are held at Cedar Mill Elementary.  During our meetings, we do crafts, learn new skills and sometimes go on field trips!  Our meetings always end with all scouts reciting the Cub Scout Promise and Motto:  Do Your Best!

Wolf Den 3 News:
The Wolves have gotten off to a fast start!  We've already completed our first three achievements, plus one elective.  Ask a Wolf about how to display the American flag and he'll be able to tell you.  Or ask him to perform first aid.  Later this month, the Wolves head to Fort Vancouver with our newest scout, Gavin Stockwell.  Welcome Gavin!  Awhooo!
