Cub Scout Open House
Learn what camp is all about at one of the Cub Scout Open House properties.  Boys will be able to participate in games, archery, BB Guns and more!

Corn Maze
Pack 207 visits the Sauvie Island corn maze each year.  This pack activity takes place in the fall.  In years past, Pack 207 has done the regular and haunted corn maze.  This is a fun Pack, Den and Family event.

POW WOW
Each year the Boy Scouts of America hold a POW WOW where various Boy Scouting Councils within Oregon come together to experience the ultimate training extravaganza.  This is a great opportunity to get your leader training and learn fun activities for your den and pack meetings!  Signups for summer camp can also be done at POW WOW.

Scouting for Food is an annual drive where all Boy Scouts participate on the first Saturday in December. Pack 207 participates in this service project each year.  After Scouting for Food the boys enjoy a Bowling party sponsored by Pack 207.

Each year, the third Friday in January marks 'race-day' for Pack 207.  Each boy is given a Pinewood Derby kit to create a fast, zooming race car!  The Pinewood Derby Committee begins planning in November to get ready for the big race night in January.

Every year Cub Scout Packs can use one of the winter lodges for a Snow Play Day.  Pack 207 usually goes up to Nanitch Lodge.  The lodge has a kitchen and a nice sitting area with fireplace to stay warm.  Inner tubes are available along with a tubing hill to have fun in the snow.  In order for the Pack to use the lodge it is required that 3 people from each Pack go up on Winter Lodge Clean-up Day to get the lodge ready for winter use.  At this time the pack can reserve their snow play day. Sno Park permits are required!

Each year Cub Scout Packs around the country have a Blue & Gold banquet to celebrate Cub Scouting.  Blue signifies the sky, truth, spirituality, and loyalty.  Gold stands for warm sunlight, good cheer, and happiness.  Together they symbolize what Cub Scouting is all about.

The first Saturday in March was established as the annual day for this joint service project. This project mobilizes Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts from Longview, Washington to Albany, Oregon and from Tillamook to The Dalles. Youth members go door to door collecting clothing and collectibles that are given to Goodwill Industries. Goodwill uses the process of cleaning, mending, and retailing these goods to provide job training for disabled people. This is the largest single-day collection of clothing and non-perishable items in the nation and is part of the biggest job-training program for disabled Americans in the country.

This is a chance to teach Scouts about community service. They will be traveling in pairs, knocking on doors in their neighborhood, asking for donations of used goods to help people with disabilities. This is the kind of task that builds character, social skills, and caring – qualities that we endeavor to teach our youth. This project promotes Scouting and the good deeds that result from program activities. The Scouts will earn segments and patches, and are sure to have fun.

Pack 207 has a swim party in May for the scouts to celebrate the end of a scouting year.  This event is held at the Southwest Community Swim Center.  The center has two big pools and a big twisty slide that is fun for the whole family!

Each year Pack 207 holds its June Pack meeting at Camp Ireland.  This is a pack meeting not to miss!  The boys get to experience a retiring of a flag ceremony and at the end of the meeting we roast marshmellows!

The Camporee is a special event in the Scouting year.  It is a family camping weekend for all Scouts and Webelos. Each participant will enjoy a weekend of camping, Scouting activities on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday including exciting campfires and a camporee patch.  All units are encouraged to attend this event.
